Super Smash Bros. Brawl Stuff

I never really was that much into Nintendo-style games. I never owned a Nintendo console except for the Wii. Now, I'm getting more into that stuff, Super Mario Galaxy for example, what a great game, lots of creativity.

In about 9 days Super Smash Bros. Brawl is going to be released in North America (March 9th, apparently, some people got it earlier). Lots of people are hyped about this game, including me, I even pre ordered my copy, and here's the best part, I never really played the Smash Bros. series, and I never played a fighting game before. I don't know what to expect from this game.

I've watched lots of videos on YouTube, lurking on the Smash World Forums, and listening to podcasts about the game. I'm still what this game is like. I played Melee about a week ago in EB Games. I felt like I was just mashing buttons, but thats probably because I only played for 5 minutes with the GameCube controller, which I'm not familiar with at all.

Hopefully all my wonderings (is that a word?) will be answered soon.

P.S. Comment, comment, and comment.

Thanks,

iPhone Update 1.1.4 and SDK Info

Apple released the iPhone 1.1.4 update yesterday. It seems like the update doesn't add any new features, except some bug fixes, and the iPhone itself seems faster according to people who tested it. I haven't updated yet, Waiting on ZiPhone to catch up, which I think will happen very soon.

Another bit of news that has been floating around, is that Apple sent an email to reporters on Wednesday, that contains an invitation. The invitation said "Please join us to learn about the iPhone software road map, including the iPhone SDK and some exciting new enterprise features."Apparently the release date of the SDK is set on March 6th.

I'm really excited about the SDK. I can't wait to see what developers will do with the iPhone.

P.S. Please comment and give me feedback.

Thanks,

My Setup!

I thought that my first post should be about my current setup. I'm going to list the stuff that you guys see in the picture first, then I will talk about them a little bit. Ok, here we go:

MacBook:
2.0GHz Core 2 Duo
80GB Hard Drive
1GB of RAM
Monitor:
20 Inch Dell SP2008WFP
1680*1050 Native Resolution
VGA (640*480) Webcam
4 USB Ports

Computer Accessories:
LaCie 500GB External Hard Drive
Apple Aluminum Keyboard (Wired)
Microsoft Laser Mouse 6000
Creative Labs Inspire 245 2.0 Speaker System

Gaming:
Nintendo Wii Console
1 Nunchuck
1 Wii Remote
Super Mario Galaxy
Wii Sports, of course

Portable Devices:
iPhone 8GB (Jailbroken, unlocked, and updated to 1.1.3)

First of all, I should let you all know that I'm using my desktop monitor as my Wii monitor through the XCM 1080p VGA Box (maybe I'll do a review on it one day!). I have the MacBook connected to the VGA box through the Apple Mini-DVI to VGA Adapter, and the Wii connected to the VGA through the component cable that came with the VGA box. I also have the sound output form the MacBook connected to the VGA box. The VGA box is connected to the monitor via VGA cable. Everything else (accessories) is connected via USB, either through the MacBook or the monitor.

Welcome!

Ok, lets get started. I made this blog so I can share my thoughts with everyone on the web. I'm gonna' post about stuff that interests me and hopefully the general public as well.

Hmm... What interests me?  I like technology, Apple (Your thinking: "Oh... not another Apple fanboy"), gaming... you get the idea. My posts are probably are going to range from tech news to posts about my daily life (maybe?).

Now, I really haven't done anything like this before. Probably the closest thing I did, is posting in forums. So, I would really appreciate it if you give me feedback through the comments or the messaging system. You can look forward to my first post hopefully tomorrow.

Thanks,
mo010
